This RCGP accredited MRCGP CSA Exam preparation two-day course is designed and delivered by the RCGP's North East London Faculty. The course will familiarise delegates with the assessment process for the CSA module, offer guidance on preparation methods and provide an opportunity for candidates to undertake mock CSA cases in the actual examination circuit at the RCGP with feedback from examiners, peers and role players.

As a retired teacher, Dave has a strong educational and examining background. Appointed Lay Adviser to the RCGP, he worked on the Simulated Surgery Exams, and subsequently on the development of the CSA itself – especially the procedures for preparing and calibrating the role-players, for which he was awarded his FRCGP (Hon).

Lynne is a linguist with a special interest in clinical discourse, and particularly in the way that language is used within the consultation.

Lynne was a University Lecturer in English Language before moving into medical education in 2002. Since then she has delivered communication skills training for Trusts across the UK and now leads on clinical communication programmes for Health Education England in London. She has also co-developed communication skills assessments for the GP Induction a
