RCGP North East England Faculty in association with PCDS would like to warmly invite you to attend the Essential Dermatology Series 2.
One day programme covering essential information to cope with the vast majority of dermatological conditions encountered in day-to-day general practice.
• Up to 25% of all GP consultations relate to the skin
• Dermatology is an area of medicine that is facing major changes from secondary to primary care
• The majority of GPs have little or no training in dermatology
• Hospital referral rates for dermatology are consistently high
• Open to all members of the primary care team
The Primary Care Dermatology Society is an independent educational organisation of GPs with an interest in dermatology. We have more than 3000 members nationwide representing GPs as well as GPwSIs. For 20 years we have provided a comprehensive and varied mixture of educational meetings for our members and additional day-long meetings for those with limited knowledge in dermatology e.g. VTS, new GPs as well as those who missed out on dermatology training.
The programme covers the essential information to enable members of the primary care team to cope with the vast majority of conditions encountered in day-to-day general practice.
