Twelve months since the start of the Covid pandemic and we will have a chance to reflect on the impact it has had on referral rates and lung cancer diagnosis. Supported by Cancer Research UK.
Twelve months since the start of the Covid pandemic and we will have a chance to reflect on the impact it has had on referral rates and lung cancer diagnosis. The urgent suspected lung cancer pathway was particularly affected by Covid and has been slow to recover. We'll look at the latest facts and figures for the UK as we examine the state of the nation one year later.
New research is out looking at the health-seeking behaviour of the public since March 2020 - it provides a fascinating insight into patient perceptions which helps us to plan Covid recovery strategies going forwards. We will be able to share some Clinician insights which we received in response to our recent blog on lung cancer in 2021 - what is the experience of those working at the coal face?
We will consider what we can do to help the recovery of the urgent referral pathway for lung cancer. As well as discussing practical tips we'll be joined by Dr. Stephen Bradley to discuss the latest evidence on using CXRs to aid lung cancer diagnosis. Given his involvement in the latest research, he will be well placed to share his thoughts and answer any questions you may have.
This webinar will take place on Tuesday 15th June 2021 starting at 8 pm and finishing at 9 pm.
You will be able to claim 1 CPD credit for this online webinar with a downloadable certificate provided.
